What is the quality like?

• One of the exciting aspects of this product is that it was designed and manufactured right here in Australia. We use Hospital Grade Stainless Steel with a brushed finish. The domestic Footle® is made from 2 mm brushed Stainless Steel, the Commercial Grade - Heavy Duty is made from 3mm brushed Stainless Steel and comes with a 10 Year warranty .

How do these attach?

• Every Door Footle® comes with the parts you need. The regular model has 3 stainless steel screws, a Door Footle® and a door decal to stick near where the handle would be. The Commercial Grade Heavy Duty version comes with 3 stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts and a door decal.

Is the Door Footle® safe?

• They do have a dull edge and in practice, only the sole of your shoe touches the Footle®……and if bare feet are the preferred way, we can coat the gripping edge with rubber.

• Yes, when installed properly the door Footle® is just 5mm up from the base of the door so exposed toes cannot get caught under it. The stainless steel is between 2 and 3 mm thick with a dull edge.

• As a Door Footle® is fitted to the inside of a door, when opened your feet are free from obstruction and walking past a door you are nowhere near the Footle® either.

• Yes, and we are happy to send to all countries. We will consider licensing models for countries or just distribution.

• Absolutely yes, this is POA (Price on Application).

What is your return / exchange policy and warranty period?

• We comply with all Australian law, so no problem with returns as the Door Footle® is made of hospital grade stainless steel we will accept returns if the product does not meet your need as expected. Just talk to us at: sales@doorfootle.au

• Warranty is 1 Year for the regular Footle® and 10 Years Warranty for the Commercial Grade.

Should I choose Stainless Steel or Aluminium?

• Aluminium is a softer metal and more suited to an aluminium framed door. However Galvanic Corrosion can happen between the aluminium Footle® and the stainless steel screws IF there is constant water present. Although this can happen, there are no great concerns as a simple plastic washer can eliminate the issue.

• Stainless Steel is certainly a better product, stronger and less susceptible to corrosion. For places where people will always use bare feet, then a rubber coated grip is available on request, though only good for bare foot use and not super durable for shoes.
