Machined out of 4 mm aluminium this Footle® is perfect for aluminium doors that either slide or pull open. For doors that have a lever handle, request the conversion kit.
Galvanic Corrosion can occur with differing metals such as Aluminium and Stainless Steel. However, if your door Footle™ is not exposed to water (fresh or salt) then these 2 metals will be relatively inert. If however you have your Footle® exposed to water, then we recommend you insert some plastic washers between the stainless steel screw and the Aluminium Footle™.
